My bestie found this amazing tee during one of her daily vintage rummages. We didn't know what the expression referred to, but a quick google search soon told us this was a 1986 statewide advertising campaign to reduce litter in Texas. Apparently it's pretty well known.
Turns out the Texas Department of transportation were quite 'protective', shall we say, over their slogan, and several 'cease and desist' letters were sent out to those who used the trademarked phrase, including the University of Texas at Austin who printed the saying on T-shirts. Who knows, perhaps this is one of those 'illegal' t-shirts, which has found its way all the way over here to Ireland.
Well Texas... Jack supports your cause.

That's awesome! I'm from Texas and yup, you see the phrase everywhere! :-) Love it!
