My Nan gave us a bunch of freshly cut daffodils yesterday. I love Spring, and I heart daffodils! So, I used them in a photo shoot with Jack today. I love his eyes in these shots, which is why I am entering this into the Paper Mama's weekly themed photo challenge again this week. (Thanks to Chelsey for featuring my photo last week!) I know I am very biased, but I honestly think that Jack's eyes are the most amazing eyes I have ever seen.
My lovely little Staffy/lab doggy, Maisey, got in on the photo action today. She loves to get on the backdrop when the camera comes out, although for this reason, she often gets in the way. She's such a poser.
Tonight, my husband and I are going on a rare night out... together! So Jack is staying overnight with his Granny. I know he'll be fine, but I miss him terribly already. We are hardly ever apart, and I always feel like I'm missing a limb when he's gone. I'm sure we'll have a great night, but... roll on tomorrow!

those eyes! Can I just tell you I was so disappointed when my Jack didn't get my husbands bright baby blues?? Oh well... ;)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean by being excited to go out without the baby, but then missing them like crazy after a few hours. Hope you had fun!
Well, both your models are rather cute! Love those blue eyes with the background and the daffodils. Ah, daffodils! Mine are blooming already but it got cold again last night, so we'll see. Gorgeous photos, I'm sure they'd make nice Easter gifts for the overnight Granny...
ReplyDeleteCute little models. Love the daffodils in the background...and those gorgeous blue eyes.
ReplyDeleteNew follower from the simple things blog. What a breathtaking photo of that precious little boy! His eyes just pop.

ReplyDeletethanks for linking up with Magical Monday Meme ^_^
love the expressions!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so lovely to see you here again at Photo Feedback! You are right, he does have absolutely amazing eyes!!
ReplyDeleteThis shot is so crisp and the colors are fantastic. My only suggestion for the first one would be to remove the daffodil from the background. They are perfect in the last shot, but with only one showing in the first shot (and it partially blocked by his head) it is kind of distracting. I am really having to grab at something to even write that. It is a very lovely shot and outstanding just the way it is. :)
He's adorable! Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Love all of his different expressions!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I love those eyes! Have a fabulous week.

I already left you a comment but I didn't realize you submitted this pic for photo feedback as well. So here it goes. I love this picture; it's very difficult to offer any feedback. Since the flowers are a bit distracting from his adorable face (and those eyes), I would have tried to remove them (clone them out). Other than that, love all of these photos. That first one has great composition!
ReplyDeleteloving his expressions, and what a beautiful dog!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background with yellow flower..
ReplyDeleteVisiting for MYM- hope you can stop by:)

He does have gorgeous eyes! I love his expression in the second one. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kim about the daffodil in the first shot, since you linked up for critique. If it were more to the side of him I think it would be less of a distraction, but if it were cloned out it would help keep all the focus on that precious face.
I really love your photos. Great work!! And i can totally relate to how hard it is to be away from the kids. I feel the same way ;)
I have to agree with you his eyes are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteForget the daffodils (which I adore) Those eyes are magical!
ReplyDeleteI just love his expression in that second picture!! And he does have some pretty blues, thats for sure. Enjoy your night out.
