Pea Green Boat

I thought I would revisit an old portrait of Jack today. Inspired by the poem The owl and the pussycat, I created this scene entirely out of paper (bar the fly swatter that the sail is taped to). I'd love to try and make another 'paper portrait', but Jack is a human shredder. He was only 7 months old when I snapped this, and believe me, the boat was ripped to smithereens in a few short seconds. Imagine an even stronger, more mobile Jack in the midst of a sea of paper. No hope.

  1. This photo is adorable! And I know what you mean--once they're mobile, kids have a habit of turning into mini godzillas!
