Soli and Mo

Yesterday, after Mums and tots, I took Jack to see my dear grandparents, as I often do. My Nana turned the TV over to the childrens channel so Jack could watch it as he crawled around. There aren't many kids TV shows that would catch my attention, but I found myself fascinated by a beautifully animated programme called 'Soli and Mo'. Jack was far too busy pulling my Nans stuff out of her drawers to notice, but I was memorised, imagining how I could create a 'Soli and Mo' inspired shoot with Jack. Well, here is my attempt! I photographed Jack in front of my blue fabric backdrop, and created a gradient effect in photoshop, along with the glows and tiny stars. The clouds and larger stars were made out of paper and stuck to the backdrop.

Oh, and the gorgeous personalised waistcoat that Jack is wearing was made by my best friends mother, who is a talented knitter. She has made Jack many lovely garments, for which we are always grateful.
